Monstrous Carbuncle - A book about my passion for Brutalist architecture and the feelings that it evokes. The effects it has on people and residents etc and how it fits in to society overtime.
Using highly considered design I wanted to inolved as many subtle elements of Brutalism as possible.From different media to the binding and production techniques; all together creating a multi-sensory experience. Imagine a coffee table book that when you touch it and open it, the experience is something far more compelling than simply looking at photos or reading text. The varying fonts and the layout of the pages, as well as the texture of the media.
